The 1st international Fur Industry Fair, hosted by PIK MAXIMA ZAO and the Russian Fur Union, will take place at Moscow’s Expocenter complex (Forum Pavilion, Krasnaya Presnya, 14 Krasnopresnenskaya nab., Moscow) from 25 to 28 April, 2005. The Sojuzpushnina stand will be located in the middle of the Forum Pavilion, area F19.
This is the first time a Russian fur fair of this caliber is being held in springtime, the best time to land contracts for the upcoming season. Given the size and capacity of Russia’s fur market, Fur Industry stands a good chance of rivaling the world’s most high-profile fur shows held in Hong Kong, Frankfurt and Milan.
Fur Industry is conceived as a comprehensive expo targeting fur industry professionals engaged in all stages of fur and accessory manufacturing, including fur dressers, fashion designers, wholesalers and retailers. The expo is expecting over 20,000 wholesale shoppers from all parts of Russia.
The show will feature many different sections, including fur and leather garments; fur and leather headgear; raw materials and primary fur processing; equipment and chemicals for the fur industry; fur farm tools, machinery and feeds; financing and investment; information technology and mass media.
